The Fastener Division manufactures various screws such as precision screws, self-tapping screws, and self-locking screws, as well as industrial fasteners such as rivets, pins, and special cold-forged parts. Recently, we have started offering trivalent chrome chromate coated products that support environmental designing, a CP grip that catches metal chips generated by screwing, and other products meeting the advanced needs for manufacturing. We have achieved self-manufacturing of screw manufacturing tools, washing equipment, plating equipment, screwdriving testers, packaging machines and other types of equipment. This is for quality improvement from diversified standpoints. We acquired ISO9002 (currently ISO9001) certification in 1995 and ISO14001 certification in 2000. In both cases, we were the first machine screw and tapping screw manufacturers to acquire those certifications in Japan. We globally supply screw products from factories in Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China. We have a production capacity of about 2.8 billion screws a month, including our overseas factories. We can deliver more than 30 billion screws a year to customers.
